Principal Secretary Skill Development Training Department Government of Andhra Pradesh S Suresh Kumar,IAS Skill Development corporation MD & CEO Dr. V Vinodkumar V IAS, Advisor to the GoAP ( Jobfairs and training ) Shri. Gadhi Reddy Sridhar Reddy inaugurated a workshop with more than 100 industry representatives to implement training programs to suit industries through Andhra Pradesh Skill Development Corporation.
The Principal Secretary of the Skill Development Corporation said that the Skill Development Corporation has already adopted the skill cascading system to prepare manpower according to the industries. Even now, through a program called Industry Customized Skill Training and Placements to train students in the industry premises, and they will train in these courses for 30-45 days and provide employment in the same industry. He also said that in the coming days, not only manufacturing industries, but also IT and service sectors will also increase the trainings.
Advisor to the GoAP ( Jobfairs and training ) Shri. Gadhi Reddy Sridhar Reddy said that Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri. YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is in the forefront in imparting the necessary skills to the youth of Andhra Pradesh, as per the instructions of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, 192 Skill Hubs and 26 Skill Colleges have been established through Skill Cascading System. , we train more than 50,000 students every year.Also, through Job Calendar, 2 job fairs are organized in each district every month and more than 30,000 job opportunities have already been created. In the coming days Skill University will also establish and will create more trainings and provide more job opportunities.
Dr Vinod Kumar V , IAS, MD&CEO, Skill Development Corporation explained about the training provided by the Corporation to the industry representatives through power point presentation and said that Skill Development Corporation is ready to provide any kind of training to provide employment opportunities to the youth of Andhra Pradesh.He also said that necessary guidelines have been given to start the Industry Customized Skill Development Training and Placement (ICSTP) program in all industries in the early days.
In this program, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with Skill Development Organization and Retailers Association Skill Council of India.
